This has already got me thinking about a hundred different scenarios for the future of music. It also, oddly, sounds like medieval times, where art (or should I say content) was commissioned by the rich. Everything old is new again?

I’m nearly the total opposite—though I didn’t despise Marvel, I guess I was more of a DC kid—and hope this doesn’t mean we’ll start to see Spider-Man, Wolverine and the Fantastic Four traipsing around Disneyland anytime soon. Actually, I shudder to think of such blasphemy.

Young Matthew would be so mortified about this. I spent my entire childhood and adolescence despising Disney with an unreasonable intensity, all the while being obsessed with Marvel Comics. And here we are. I wonder if this will have any noticeable effect on the actual comics…
