Time magazine is now periodically releasing “commemorative reissues” on the iPad. They are, in a word, awesome. The above is an ad from the March 2, 1962 issue. I haven’t read any articles yet, but even just flipping through each of them, I’m geeking out on the layout, ads and all the “latest news” that now seems so oddly distant. 

Not to intend a pun, but these things are like time machines. So, so great.

I will be purchasing this in all its retro glory. (Though, if I may quibble, I’m pretty sure they didn’t used to put this many words on the cover. Oh well. Close enough.)
